Local Labor Candidate for Fowler announced that a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will support the construction of a Buddhist Stupa.

This $1.3 million election commitment will help the Vietnamese Buddhist Society of NSW with the construction of a Buddhist Stupa at the Phap Bao Temple.

This is significant to the local Buddhist community in Fowler, providing an important monument in a space where they can practice their faith and enrich the entire community.

Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.

Quotes attributable to Tu Le, Labor Candidate for Fowler:

“I know how important this commitment will be to the Vietnamese Buddhist community in South West Sydney.

“Phap Bao Temple is an important place for the local Vietnamese Buddhist community to come together, connect with each other and practice their faith.

“I’m so proud of the contribution Vietnamese Australians are making to Australian life across so many fields.”
