Labor candidate for Fowler, Tu Le, today announced that a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will provide $30,000 to the Armenian National Committee of Australia for its annual Armenian Festival.
This election commitment will contribute to the Satellite Carnival of the Armenian Festival in Liverpool. The Armenian Festival is one of the largest events in the Armenian Australian Community’s Calendar and is a testament to the talent of the Armenian community.
The Festival will feature live cultural dancing and music, traditional food and market stalls, and interactive stalls with educational material on Armenian culture and history.
The Albanese Labor Government has delivered for multicultural communities throughout Fowler and will continue to support and foster cultural celebrations and festivals throughout Fowler and the nation.
Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
