Federal Member for Bennelong, Jerome Laxale announced that a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will contribute support to the 35th anniversary celebrations of Eastwood Chinese Senior Citizens Club in 2026.

This $20,000 election commitment will support the club’s 35th anniversary dinner for its members, which will also feature the production and printing of a special anniversary bulletin highlighting the club’s achievements over the years.

The event will be a chance to celebrate the dedication and hard work of members over the past 35 years, reflecting on the challenges overcome and the many memorable moments shared.

This funding is part of the Albanese Labor Government’s commitment to supporting multicultural communities in Sydney and across Australia, helping them stay connected and continue celebrating their culture and traditions together.

Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
