Candidate for Fowler, Tu Le today announced that a re-elected Labor Government will provide funding to support the Grand Cultural Festival, hosted by the Vietnamese Community in Australia - NSW Chapter.
The Vietnamese community has enriched Australia with vibrant cultural traditions, spirit and strong community values.
This $30,000 election commitment will support this festival which this year will mark the 50th anniversary of the settlement of Vietnamese migrants to Australia.
The Festival will feature a parade, highlighting the different aspects of Vietnamese-Australian culture, cultural performances and presentations from younger members of the Vietnamese-Australian community.
The Albanese Labor Government will continue to deliver for multicultural communities and ensure cultural groups throughout Australia are free to celebrate their cultural heritage and traditions with pride.
Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
