Zhi Soon - Member for Banks Zhi Soon - Member for Banks

A lifelong local, father, respected education policy adviser and former Australian diplomat in Afghanistan, Zhi has always put our community first. Now he's running to represent the people of Banks in Federal Parliament.

Zhi has a wealth of experience in public service, including as a member of the Youth Advisory Council and the youngest ever appointee to the NSW Board of Studies, for which he was awarded the Young Australian of the Year in the ACT in 2008. In all of his endeavour’s Zhi’s guiding principles have been fairness and integrity.

Zhi is running for Federal Parliament because he wants a government that cares about people, and that is focused on improving the lives of local residents across the Banks electorate. He knows the Labor Government has made progress to protect and strengthen Medicare, deliver tax cuts for every taxpayer, and invest in education from pre-school through to university and TAFE.

Zhi has the experience and passion to deliver what our community needs and deserves.
