After 12 long years of Liberal-National Government inaction, NSW is facing a teacher shortage crisis.

This year Dominic Perrottet has left 2,383 teacher vacancies in NSW schools, causing classes to be cancelled and merged.

As a result, education outcomes have declined over the last decade– against other states, PISA results show NSW has dropped from 3rd to 5th in maths and science; and 4th to 6th in reading.

NSW Labor is hosting a Policy Forum to discuss the NSW Upper House inquiry into the NSW Teacher Shortage, and how you can help our campaign.
