Minister for Education and Early Learning

Minister for Western Sydney

Member for Londonderry

For more than a decade, fighting for a fair go for families has always been Prue’s number one priority.

Since being first elected as the Member for Londonderry in 2015, Prue has fought to ensure community assets like Jordan Springs Public School were delivered, and has been a strong advocate schools, roads, transport and health services across Sydney’s West and North West.

With the support of residents, Prue also led successful community campaigns to stop the Liberals dumping radioactive waste in Western Sydney and to prevent them from bulldozing hundreds of family homes.

In March 2023, Prue was appointed Deputy Premier of NSW, Minister for Education and Early Learning and Minister for Western Sydney in the Minns Labor Government. Since that time, Prue has already delivered new and upgraded schools across the state, including the brand new Melonba Public School and Melonba High School in Sydney's growing North West, with more on the way to meet the needs of the growing area.

Prue is a strong voice for our region and our community in Government, delivering on local commitments including building the new Jordan Springs High School, upgrading Richmond Road, delivering the new Rouse Hill Hospital with emergency and maternity services, and introducing the toll cap for Western Sydney drivers. As your local member, Prue is committed to continuing to work hard for you and your family.
