Peter Primrose
Member of the Legislative Council
Peter has served as a Labor Member of the Legislative Council since 1996. He was previously elected to the NSW Legislative Assembly as the Member for Camden.
In his time as an elected Member he has served in a number of different roles, and taken on a wide range of portfolio and policy areas. Peter is currently the Assistant President of the NSW Legislative Council.
Before entering the NSW Parliament, Peter served as Mayor of Campbelltown and as Chair of the Macarthur Health Services Board. He worked in the field of social and community services at a number of agencies, which included the Red Cross, and the NSW Departments of Health, and Community Services.
Peter is a committed trade unionist and is dedicated to working with all members of the community across NSW.
