Louisa Lawson Oration

The Gulgong Branch of the Labor Party is hosting a fundraiser on behalf of the Dubbo SEC, which uses the life & times of Louisa Lawson as the theme.

Please join us on this special occasion with guest speaker and member for Port Stephens, Kate Washington MP, in support of Labor's Dubbo campaign. 

This event is based on the achievements Henry Lawson's mother Louisa for promoting women's issues in society and the Labor Party's ideals for the promotion of women in politics at all levels of government and in the Labour movement in general, including that of Trade Unions. Some of our previous speakers have been Kristina Keneally, Linda Burney, Ged Kearney, Melissa Parke, Nicola Roxon & Dr Carmen Lawrence.
