Laura Hughes
Candidate for New England
Laura is a Tamworth local, and works in the region as a primary school teacher. She sees first-hand the impact of teacher shortages and under resourced education services in regional NSW. As someone who lives and works in our region, Laura knows that life shouldn't be harder just because you live in regional NSW. That's why she'll work to make sure that every kid growing up in our region gets the same opportunities as those in the city.
Laura will help build a stronger future for our region by delivering quality local health services, safer roads, and better mobile & broadband coverage.
She will always stand up for secure, local jobs in New England and will provide better funding for local schools and TAFE, protecting the jobs we have and working to bring more investment into the region.
