Jerome Laxale - Member for Bennelong Jerome Laxale - Member for Bennelong

I'm proud and honoured to be the Member for Bennelong, a place that has been my home for the past 15 years and one that has given me the honour of serving you as a Councillor and Mayor. I’ve developed a deep connection with our community and a calling to help people.

This connection compelled me to say yes when Anthony Albanese asked me to stand for federal parliament.

Those of you who know me know that when I set out to do something, I won't stop. I’m going on this journey with a commitment to make a real difference for our community.

I will fight for:

  • Energy and Climate, and the way we take care of our future generations
  • Holding our political leaders accountable for their decisions by installing a Federal ICAC with teeth
  • Cheaper childcare, because as a parent I know it takes a village and our families deserve better
  • Real local representation, always accessible and working for you
