Jenny is the Minister for Roads and Minister for Regional Transport, and the local Member for Maitland.
Before entering Parliament, Jenny was a multi-award-winning small business owner in the transport and tourism sector, where she spent nearly two decades creating jobs, supporting Australian manufacturing and championing sustainable business practices. She was an early advocate for environmental responsibility in the transport industry and a strong supporter of regional and Australian-owned businesses.
Elected to the NSW Parliament in 2015, Jenny has been a consistent advocate for regional communities, fairness, and investment in essential public infrastructure. She has held a range of senior shadow portfolios and served in Shadow Cabinet before being appointed Minister for Regional Transport and Roads following the election of the Minns Labor Government in March 2023.
As Minister, Jenny is focused on improving road safety, strengthening regional and metropolitan transport connections, and delivering infrastructure that supports jobs, productivity and growing communities across New South Wales.
A long-standing advocate for women’s leadership, Jenny has held senior roles in parliamentary women’s networks and helped establish community organisations supporting women in the Hunter. She is committed to improving access to health, education and transport services for regional communities and ensuring every part of NSW gets its fair share.
