Jason Yat-sen Li: Candidate for Strathfield

Strathfield by-election is on February 12

Jason is an experienced businessman, lawyer, and a community advocate. He has built businesses and served on the boards of charity and service organisations for over two decades. He is a Pro-Chancellor of Sydney University and was a governing member of leading charity the Smith Family.

The son of migrants from Hong Kong, Jason believes in hard work, family and public service. He wants everyone to have the opportunity to give their kids an excellent education, get access to the best healthcare, and build a good life.

Jason grew up in Sydney’s south-western suburbs where his mum was a school teacher for 40 years, and his dad built and ran a small manufacturing business. He and his wife Lucy are raising three school-aged kids.

Jason will use his experience to work for everyone in our community. He will back in local businesses, speak up for better health care and schools, and will work to improve the disastrous handling of the COVID crisis by the new Premier Perrotett, including pushing to make Rapid Antigen Tests free and more available for every family and business.
