MUA panel on wage justice and job security

Join trade union members and hear about the ongoing struggles for wage justice and job security locally and internationally. Hosted by the MUA, the panel will consist of leaders from across the spectrum of public and private sector workplaces here and overseas that are taking industrial action to demand fair pay, dignity and equity in their workplaces. The panel will look past conservative spin to examine the real reasons why teachers, nurses, railway workers and early childhood educators in Australia are taking industrial action as well as lessons from comrades in the USA and the United Kingdom tackling similar issues of privatisation, outsourcing and employer-led militancy.
