Parliamentary Secretary for Trade and Small Business

Emily is a registered nurse, trade union official, and mother of two young sons. Emily and her husband Jay live in Cessnock, where they are active in their local community.

Emily has been a representative on the NSW Labor A Healthy Society Policy Committee for the past four years and is passionate about the state of health in our regions. Locally, Emily also volunteers her time on the board of directors for the community childcare centre that her children attend.

As a trade union official, Emily has organised nurses and midwives in regional areas across the public, private and aged care sectors. Her areas of interest include primary health care, paediatrics, mental health, and ensuring equality of access to healthcare for all.
