How to vote for Digby Wilson

Digby Wilson is a proud Mid-North Coast local, living in Taree with his partner, where he serves as a newly elected local councillor. He understands the needs of the Mid-North Coast and is committed to fighting for his community as Labor’s Candidate for Lyne. 

Starting his career as a blue-collar apprentice technician, Digby always aims to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. Digby spent over a decade working in telecommunications, during which served as the Chair of the Emergency Council for NSW, Victoria and Tasmania, ensuring that communities had access to essential, critical communications during disasters.  

Digby’s leadership was vital in maintaining Australia's critical telecommunications network during crises, spearheading Telstra-wide efforts to restore these essential communications in times of emergency. Digby has also served as a volunteer for the Rural Fire Service, Sydney Children’s Hospital, St Vincent de Paul, and local sports clubs.  

Digby understand the needs of his community and is committed to securing support for working families and fostering unity within the community to create a stronger, fairer Australia for everyone.
