David Harris

Member for Wyong

David Harris - Member for Wyong David Harris - Member for Wyong

David Harris is a local who understands the Coast

David was born and bred on the Central Coast, and is proud to be raising his daughters, Jessica and Rachael, with his wife Sherelle in Hamlyn Terrace. As a primary school principal and surf lifesaving volunteer, David is a part of our community and is working hard to make it an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.

David Harris has the experience to get results

David has the experience to deliver for our community, and he gets results. As the Member for Wyong, David fought for and delivered a Trades and Skills Centre at Wyong TAFE, and upgrades to many local roads including Tuggerah straight, the Tuggerah commuter carpark, major improvements to Wyong Police Station and Warnervale Public School and delivered more funding for local schools and TAFE.

David Harris will fight for the Central Coast

Unlike the Liberals on the Coast, David Harris will fight to make sure the Central Coast gets its fair share. He will:

  • Fight the Liberals’ cuts to Wyong Hospital and health services, including cancer and maternity care;
  • Fight for more funding for local schools and TAFE, which will help create jobs locally;
  • Fight for upgrades to Central Coast roads, including the M2 to M1 link and local roads, so that families can spend more time at home, and less time on the road; and;
  • Fight to stop the Wallarah 2 Coal Mine, to protect our water catchment and the health of local families.
