The Class of 1995 won the State Election for Labor Leader Bob Carr when Diane Beamer won the seat of Badgerys Creek in Penrith. It was the start of 16 years of Labor Government and big successes for the state, including delivering the Olympics, built the M7, doubled the our National Park land, created the world’s first greenhouse gas trading scheme and drug law reform.
None of this would have been possible without Di’s hard work as a candidate and all the doors she knocked on in Penrith.
Twenty-four years later she is doing the same to hold Lindsay for Labor. Come and join this special event and give Di the boost she needs in the remaining days of the campaign.
