Charishma Kaliyanda was raised, educated and has worked in southwest Sydney for most of her career.
She is the Parliamentary Secretary for Customer Service, Digital Government, Emergency Services and Youth Justice. In this capacity, Charishma supports Minister Jihad Dib to drive better service provision across these portfolios to deliver for every resident of NSW.
Before entering Parliament, Charishma worked as a registered Occupational Therapist working in the youth mental health sector.
Charishma believes in integrity and equality. She wants all people to have opportunities, dignity, and respect in their communities. She knows good governments have a responsibility to provide quality health, education, transport, and services.
Charishma is a strong local voice who will advocate for the vital services that Liverpool deserves.
