Charishma was raised, educated and has worked in south west Sydney. She is currently a local councillor and registered occupational therapist working in the youth mental health sector. She understands the challenges our public services and infrastructure are facing. She is currently the Parliamentary Secretary for Customer Service and Digital Government, Emergency Services, and Youth Justice
Charishma knows our health system is in crisis. She has seen first-hand the neglect of public schools and TAFE. She has seen the privatisation of public assets driving up prices and reducing the quality and reliability of services. She understands that people are struggling with low wages and increased cost of living.
Charishma believes in integrity and equality. She wants all people to have opportunities, dignity, and respect in their communities. She knows good governments have a responsibility to provide quality health, education, transport, and services.
Charishma will be a strong local voice who will advocate for the vital services that Liverpool deserves.
