Joshua Roberts-Garnsey is a science teacher at Narrabri High School. He volunteers locally with football coaching and talks all things science on the 'high school half hour'.
Growing up, Joshua spent his school holidays visiting his grandparents in Gwabegar and moved to Narrabri permanently in 2021. He has seen first-hand the impact of chronic teacher shortages on regional schools.
Joshua has also seen first-hand the crisis facing NSW Health and has welcomed NSW Labor’s commitment to implement all recommendations of the Rural Health Inquiry.
‘I love my community and my work as a teacher, however I have seen first hand the impact the Liberal National government is having on our schools and I believe it is time for change.
‘NSW Labor have a plan. A plan for our schools, for our hospitals, for housing across New South Wales.
‘I know this election will be a tough battle but I will be fighting for every single vote I can get and be advocating for the people of Barwon day in and day out.'
