Jan Primrose

Jan Primrose has been a member of the Australian Labor Party since 1980 and a proud and active trade union member, having been involved with the Students’ Union, ASWU, PSA, NSW Teachers’ Federation (TAFETA), CPSU, AMWU and ASU.

Jan has also been a member of the Campbelltown, Minto, Camden and The Hills branches of the ALP.  She has served at all levels of the Party, including as branch assistant secretary, returning officer, fundraising officer, delegate to City Committee, SEC, (including as secretary, assistant secretary, campaign director, fundraising officer), FEC (including as political education officer, fund raising officer, assistant secretary), Regional Assembly, State Conference, National Conference and NSW Women’s Conference.

Prior to serving on the NSW Administrative Committee Jan also served on a variety of Party Committees, including the NSW Federal Redistribution Committee, the NSW State Redistribution Committee, various policy committees and the Wran Committee of Inquiry.
