The 2021 NSW Labor State Conference is to be held at the Sydney Town Hall on Saturday 5 June and Sunday 6 June 2021.

Timetable for Agenda Items and Policy Committees

All Rule Changes, Policy Platform Changes and Conference Agenda Items must be received by the Party Office by COB, Wednesday 10 March 2021.

The Policy Committees will finalise their report by Wednesday 31 March 2021.

The online policy motions portal has now opened. Party Units are encouraged to submit motions to Policy Committees for the next Annual Conference through the portal.

Branch, SEC, FEC and Affiliated Union Secretaries can now access the motions portal at: http://members.nswlabor.org.au

 

Delegate Returns

Delegates should be elected at their 2021 SEC and FEC AGMs. SEC and FEC secretaries are requested to upload their delegate’s information members.nswlabor.org.au or to complete the 2021 Delegates Return Form attached and return it by email [email protected] or post PO Box K408 Haymarket NSW 1240.

 

Life Membership Nominations

The last date for submission of nominations for Life Membership is 12 noon Friday, 23 April 2021. Nomination forms can be requested from Party Office by emailing [email protected]

Opening & Closing of Nominations

Nominations Open: 12noon Friday 27 March 2021

Nominations Close: 12noon Friday 7 May 2021

Nominations must be on an official nomination form available from the NSW Party Office.

*Nominations for the Senate and Legislative Council must be on the Nomination for Public Office form which is available from the Party Office. A $1000 nomination fee for the Senate is required to be paid.

**Rule O.1(c) requires all party positions where 3 or more positions are to be elected on a statewide basis to meet the minimum percentage. The column marked ‘AA requirement’ specifies how many women are required to be elected to the relevant positions.

Nominations will be accepted by the General Returning Officer (or delegate) at the NSW Party Office, Level 9, 377–383 Sussex St, Sydney.
