Please find below some information about how Conference Weekend will run.

If you have any further questions, please contact the Party Office on (02) 9207 2000 or email [email protected]

Badge Pick Up

To avoid delays on Saturday morning, you can pick up your Conference badge from the Ground Floor Training Rooms at 377 Sussex Street, Sydney between the hours of 9AM - 5PM on Wednesday 24, Thursday 25, or Friday 26 July 2024.

You will need to show your current Party membership card when collecting your badge.

Badges can also be collected at Sydney Town Hall on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 July 2024 from 7.30AM.

Seating & Security

Seats on the Conference floor are numbered.

Your seat number is printed on your delegate badge. That will be your seat for the entire Conference.

To gain access to the Conference floor, you will need to show your delegate badge to the tellers at the doors.

Conference Papers

Following feedback from members, NSW Labor will be providing the Conference papers electronically to Delegates.

Please keep an eye out in your emails for the Conference Book and other important information closer to the NSW Labor State Conference.

There will be limited printed copies available on the day.

Speaking in Debates

If you want to speak in a debate, please let either a Party Official or a Party Officer on the stage know.

Submitting a Motion

NSW Labor State Conference gives our members a say in the future direction of the Party.

Any Party Unit or Affiliated Union is able to submit a motion to Conference for consideration.

You can do this by passing a motion at your branch, State Electorate Council or Federal Electorate Council.

Motions can be submitted by your Party Unit Secretary via our online portal at membership.nswlabor.org.au.

Voting

Voting will occur from 10AM to 2PM on Sunday 28 July 2024.
