Barbara Nebart

Barbara Nebart is the current Branch Secretary/Treasurer of the Shop Distributive and Allied Employees’ Association, Newcastle and Northern Branch, and has served in that position for over ten years.  She has worked in a variety of roles for the union since 1988, including Organiser, Industrial Office and Assistant Secretary.

Barbara has been a member of the SDA National Council since 2003, a Delegate to the ACTU National Conference since 2005, a member of the Unions NSW Executive since 2006 and a member of the ACTU Executive since 2010.

Barbara joined the Australian Labor Party in 1988 and joined the NSW Administrative Committee in 2010.
