Maryanne Stuart

Maryanne Stuart is Labor's candidate for Heathcote in the 2019 State Election.

Committed to our community

Maryanne is a true local – a hard working and caring Mum of two who wants to give back to her community she respects and is deeply committed to. She is an active member of her church, and has been involved in local sports clubs, playing and coaching local Netball teams.

A local who knows what we need

Maryanne grew up in Engadine, the youngest of seven children. She and her husband Russell are raising their two children in Woronora Heights. Maryanne attended St. John Bosco Primary and High Schools, finished her schooling at St. Patrick’s Sutherland and studied at Gymea TAFE. She knows the importance of making sure all local children have access to a quality education.

Maryanne will fight for the services we deserve

Maryanne has seen our area develop enormously over the past 44 years. The Liberals have taken us for granted by slashing funding to TAFE, the rolling closures of fire stations, the cutting of rail services and blow outs in hospital waiting times due to staff shortages. With increasing population, the Liberals have failed to tackle traffic congestion.
Maryanne will fight for the services we deserve and put our
community first.
