Digital Organiser

An exciting full-time opportunity to join our digital campaigns team has arisen at NSW Labor.


DIGITAL ORGANISER:

The Digital Organiser will focus on creating and deploying innovative content in support of NSW Labor's digital strategy. This will include building engagement with supporters, growing our audience, fundraising and developing persuasive materials.

The role will work with other members of the digital team to manage NSW Labor's digital campaign in the upcoming state and federal elections. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Digital Organiser works as part of the digital team to deliver innovative online content to support campaigns, fundraising and supporter engagement. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Online content creation including social media graphics and video content.
  • Maintain and run the NSW Labor website and other campaign websites.
  • Assist with written email marketing communication strategy and basic data analysis
  • Assist with other digital campaigning tasks as necessary, including email campaigning and online advertising.
  • Photography and videography of campaign events. 
  • Provide administrative support to the office when necessary.

THE PERSON:

  • Experience using design programs such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar.
  • Experience using video editing tools such as Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar.
  • Experience using website content management and CMS systems (NationBuilder, Wordpress, Squarespace etc)
  • Will have at least a basic understanding of HTML and CSS skills
  • Past experience in action based email campaigns and writing action based emails
  • An Understanding of Labor policies and the functions and processes of Shadow Ministerial offices.
