Bert Lazzarini Think Tank

Bert Lazzarini Think Tank

Bert_Lazzarini.jpgThe Italian Friends of Labor Think Tank is named in honour of Hubert Peter "Bert" Lazzarini (1884 - 1952), who was an Australian politician, holding the division of Werriwa as the Australian Labor Party member for most years from 1919 until his death. Bert Lazzarini was born in Young, NSW, ninth child of an Italian-born father and Australian mother, and he was educated in Catholic schools.

The aim of the Think Tank is to provide opportunities for members of the Italian Australian Community to meet, suggest and discuss policy ideas. In particular, the Think Tank aims to engage young members of the community including Young Labor. The policy ideas discussed will be shaped into recommendations for the NSW Labor Party to consider at their discretion.

Help us fight for a stronger and fairer NSW.
